A portrait of Matthew McConaughey, starring in Interstellar. This was a personal project, an extensive face, likeness and expression study. The head was made from scratch in Zbrush, the hard surface helmet and parts of the suit in Modo and the clothing was again in Zbrush from scratch.

 

The textures were made in Zbrush and Photoshop, rendered using Vray (and the hair made with Joe Alter's Shave) and finally composited in Nuke.
